An excellent alternative to an iPod

Pros: excellent sound/video playback; quality headphones; dedicated volume toggle

Cons: hard to find in stores, slightly more expensive than some other 8GB players

The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a flash mp3 player, you can't go wrong with the Sony A818

Excellent MP3 player

Pros: Excellent sound quality and good earphones, excellent battery life, easy to use interface, great screen

Cons: Only supports WMP playlists, somewhat short earphone cord

The Bottom Line: This unit is the best value for its price range, with superior sound quality and overall excellent design and construction.
