Sony DSRPD170 The camcorder features what Sony describes as a newly-developed high Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) 12x lens with a 58mm filter diameter. The camcorder produces 530 lines of horizontal picture resolution (in, we assume, NTSC and PAL). Sony DSR PD170 Sony has included Super SteadyShot, in which the horizontal and vertical movements are detected independently by the sensors.
