Ubi Soft reputation is artfully maintained with Mowgli's Wild Adventure, a jumbo (32 megabits) Pak bristling with rich, detailed graphics and jolly gameplay. The gentle action includes lots of switch-hitting to open passages elsewhere in a level. Bagheera, a black panther, gradually teaches new moves like running, swinging and vine-sliding. Mowgli typically takes a peaceable approach to potential troublemakers, jumping over them or luring them out of the way by tossing fruit. Mowgli's main goal is to collect Boss Head Tokens. You enter a new level but not a new stage if you've missed some tokens. The action progresses through five stages, each with six levels, plus a bonus level. None of the levels are particularly huge. Despite intermittent slowdown, play control is generally spot-on. Music from the original film has been synthesized for the game. Mowgli's Wild Adventure is a fun and terrific-looking Pak that should appeal strongly to fans of traditional platform action. Minimize
