Great DVR

Pros: Easy to set recorder; can set recurring recordings

Cons: 15 min recording blocks.

Review: We've had the DVR 220-s since Christmas 2004 and it's been wonderful. I just recently lost the remote (kids!) so I am looking for a replacement. I burn DVD's weekly of my favorite shows and have never had a problem. I don't know why the others have ...

Power supply board failed after 14 months

Pros: The unit functioned as advertised prior to the failure.

Cons: I assume this failure is common re: depletion of spare parts.

Review: The power supply board (VWR1378)failed (filter capacitors shorted/burst taking out the rectifiers). Pioneer has no replacement available for this board. I have been unable to locate a repair center with a spare board in stock. ...
