Epinions The Apple Of My i (MP3 Edition)

by  weevilite,  Mar 5, 2008
Pros: An excellent MP3 player with a huge hard drive.
Cons: With so much space available you may not know what to do with it all.
The Bottom Line: This iPod from Apple is one that I would wholeheartedly recommend to all.
Review: Once I bought the iPhone I was dying for another bite of the Apple. I have a huge and ever expanding collection of music and therefore need a large MP3 player to hold it all on. The iPhone is great, but with a 16GB hard drive it just isn't quite large ...

by  rapoob2,  Jul 12, 2008
Pros: Light, Convenient Size, Durable, Easy To Use
Cons: No Touch Screen :(
The Bottom Line: Apple has done it again! The 160GB iPod Classic is convenient, durable, and very easy to use!!
Review: A little while back (say... 3 years...), I wrote a review of the F irst Gen iPod Nano, and have sense upgraded to a 160GB iPod Classic - a little different versus my 2GB Nano... I have been extremely happy with both ...

Epinions Another awesome Apple product!

by  jwemt81,  Aug 19, 2008
Pros: HUGE storage capacity, easy to use, tons of features, and a very nice looking screen.
Cons: None that I can think of.
The Bottom Line: If you have a huge music collection and are looking for an MP3 player to hold all of it, then this iPod Classic is definitely a top choice.
Review: I recently purchased this black iPod Classic 160 GB as an upgrade to my old 30 GB iPod Video that I have had for about 2 years. I absolutely love it! The first thing that I noticed was how much brighter the screen is when compared to my old iPod. ...

Epinions The best option!!!

by  centris,  Jan 3, 2008
Pros: Build quality, storage capacity, intuitive interface.
Cons: It comes pretty naked, no wall charger, fm tuner, etc.)
Review: Having a huge CD collection (thousands...) mostly jazz and classical I didn't want to compromise on storage space and sound quality. I imported everything in Apple Lossless format which sounds the best. Obviously the files are bigger but with 160Gig ...

Epinions How much space is too much?

by  dcsoimpossible,  Aug 10, 2008
Pros: Tons of HD space, Updated OS, added search feature, metal form factor
Cons: Coverflow is kind of slow, scratches easily (invest in a case)
The Bottom Line: Definitely purchase this player if you want all of your music on one device.
Review: I've had my iPod classic 160GB for about 4 months now and thought it deserved a review. There isn't too much to say in terms of the difference between this one and older versions. It has a very similar OS, except for the fact it's a bit updated with 3d ...

Epinions Disappointment

by  slooh,  Sep 16, 2007
Pros: Excellent hardware manufacturing quality.
Cons: Firmware has limited features and iTunes is a prison.
The Bottom Line: Excellent hardware but its firmware has limitations. Consider Zen and Archos. MediaMonkey music organization software is way better than iTunes.
Review: I used a Creative Nomad Zen Extra 30GB for over three years. I needed more space for my 13,000-song music collection (mostly MP3/VBR ~192kbps), and I want to see the full glory of color cover art. I use a fast PC with Windows XP and USB 2.0. Using ...

Epinions Could not get it to work

by  priestp1,  Dec 4, 2007
Pros: - Storage capacity and size the ability to use it as a portable hard drive
Cons: - buggy / defects
Review: After several tries and reading several blogs, I have found that there are numerous issues with the device. I had to roll back from Itunes 7.5 to 7.4.3 and plug it in to a powered USB Hub. After doing that I was only able to sync 943 songs of a 3,500 ...

Epinions Ipods are a waste of money,

by  lizpaige,  Mar 20, 2008
Pros: None, I don't have anything for this section.
Cons: Break easily, overpriced, bad sound quality, not many color choices, too big, or too small.
Review: I don't think Ipod's are a very reliable music device. I have used them before and they aren't reliable at all. Mp3's are much more usable and come in more variates.(Shape, size, color, & ...
