Epinions Portable, lite, with a lot of features and awesome battery life.

by  robfactory,  May 30, 2006
Pros: Lite, battery life, features, screen, build.
Cons: Docking station.
The Bottom Line: Tested HP, Canon & Casio. Casio has the best/most features and best price. dock needed for everything. Asides this, i really see nothing wrong with the camera. 4.5 stars
Review: Ok, first and foremost, if you intend on traveling, get a traveling battery charger. For carrying the dock will become irritable. If you have laptop, then use the memory reader there to transport the pictures to your laptop and store. I tend to take a ...

by  vtw3,  May 24, 2006
Pros: Battery Life, FEATURES, beautiful pictures, build quality, BRIGHT screen
Cons: video, annoying on/off buttons, dock
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for amazing pictures and great battery life with a few manual features so you are in control, this is it.
Review: I was looking for a new digital camera as my Canon S110 was way out of date. 2.1 megapixels, heavy, boxy, small screen, I had to get with the times. As I was looking around reviews, I finally set my eye between the Casio EX-Z850 and Canon SD600. I ...

Epinions Surprisingly good.

by  flamingdeath,  Mar 18, 2008
Pros: Compact size, good picture quality in good light, variety of features.
Cons: Needs better high ISO performance; let us choose from a range of apertures!
The Bottom Line: A pocket camera that doesn't make you give up creative control of your pictures!
Review: This camera has features only found in more expensive cameras, such as manual shutter/aperture control, aperture priority AE, shutter priority AE, manual white balance controls, adjustable focus and metering modes, manual focus mode, etc. If you're an ...

Epinions Exceptional Digital Camera

by  lucastar,  Nov 27, 2007
Pros: Large screen; multiple preset photo options; easy to use
Cons: Buttons and dial may be too small for some people
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this camera to both novice users and those with some photography experience. The camera is easy to use, yet has many options available.
Review: Casio got it right this time with a great camera that appeals to the novice user and beyond. This camera is priced right to include such features as the Best Shot option that allows the user to select a setting based on the subject that will be ...

Review: I usually read lots of reviews and pay high attention to tech-data and articles before making any purchase. Well, this time I skipped the rule. While heading to the store, I was determined to purchase the T9 Sony camera when I run onto the Casio EX-Z850 ...

Epinions Love this compact camera

by  red91car,  Jan 3, 2007
Pros: Quick recovery, eye-level viewfinder, large bright LCD, soft flash feature and ease of operation.
Cons: Could improve camera by increasing the wide angle/telephoto range.
Review: This is my second Casio, the first being the Z750 which I wore out in tropical climate. The Z850 offers many features not on the Z750, including: easy to read flash menu with a "softflash" for close-ups, easy set-up. I especially wanted a small camera ...

by  aloder,  Jun 20, 2006
Pros: Ease of use, long battery life, fast shutter and loads of features

Epinions Nice high resolution camera - but ultimately limited by the optics and sensor

by  fuzzpedal,  Jul 7, 2006
Pros: Beautifully made, big screen, fairly easy to use.
Cons: Picture quality may be bettered by bigger lenses on lower resolution cameras.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera to people like me who want a small high quality camera with many great features - just don't expect the absolute best image quality.
Review: This is an 8.1 Million Pixel mini digital camera. Sounds great doesn't it? More pixels = better quality? Well yes, all other things being equal this is true. But in the context of a mini camera like this, the reality is not that simple. There are a ...
