Epinions Makes Ordinary Sandwiches GREAT in just minutes!!

by  goldjay,  Dec 12, 2007
Pros: easy to use and quick
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: This great little sandwich maker makes every day sandwiches into something a little more special!
Review: I have had this sandwich maker for several years. I use it in spurts, it seems. For instance, I’ve made sandwiches for lunch every day this week so far but before that, the sandwich maker had been stuck in a cabinet and forgotten there for at least a ...

Pros: Cheap, makes great grilled cheese sandwiches, somewhat easy to clean
Cons: Cleaning can waste paper towels, non-removable plates, 1 temperature setting
The Bottom Line: Recommended if entry-level sandwich grill/maker is what you want to experiment with. However, if you've used one before, buy one without the same drawbacks.
Review: One of my housemates recently purchased one of these on sale. I've never used a sandwich grill before, but since its purchase I've been using it every other day. Even an entry-level sandwich maker like this can elevate ho-hum ingredients to a high ...

Epinions Recommended NOT TO BUY

by  westering,  Feb 4, 2008
Pros: Nice, even cooking.
Cons: Warranty does not match expectations. Expensive to fix.
The Bottom Line: do not buy. if it breaks, it costs too much to fix.
Review: This is the 4th sandwich maker we have had in 20 years. This one was rugged enough that we did not break the hinges, which is the failure of the earlier machines. In their defense, they did last approx 5 years each, and they were used by families ...
