Cons: Small entry width
The Bottom Line: Buy this little guy for a great shredding experience

by  HawgWyld,  Feb 1, 2005
Pros: Durable, safe and easy to use
Cons: Small waste basket, narrow opening
The Bottom Line: If you need a personal shredder, this one is great. It's a simple design, so I figure it'll hold up for quite some time.

Epinions Great deal at $16

by  ccrrccrr,  Jul 10, 2005
Pros: Inexpensive, solidly built, works nicely.
Cons: Not for a huge stack of paper; must put the lid on correctly.
The Bottom Line: If you see it for the same $16 I got it for, and are willing to be a little careful with the lid, it's a great deal.
Review: My old cheapie shredder died (the gears wore out), so I was ready to spend up to about $50 for one that would last longer. But this one was only $16 at Wal-Mart, and was from the brand that has the most good reviews for shredders on Epinions. It seems ...

Review: I bought the shredder about two months ago and this thing is great. It is automatic, just put a piece of paper to it and the motor will start to shred it. The shredder will continue to shred, even after the paper is done, so that all the paper stuck in ...

Pros: Small, inexpensive, cross-cuts to small paper size, automatic.
Cons: Top-heavy, fills up quickly, somewhat noisy.
Review: I've worked around office shredders for quite a while, as I work in a high-security institution which has need to destroy copies from time to time, and they have to be really DESTROYED. However, I didn't see much of a need for a household shredder, ...
