Epinions G-Darius-return of the fish!

by  ron_jeremy99,  Aug 14, 2001
Pros: Good graphics, balanced difficulty, great sound, the fish are BACK!!
Cons: ???? Hmmm....nope none.
The Bottom Line: Graphics, sound, gameplay, G-Darius has it all. Best psx shooter around. Shooter fans line up. Little slice of shooter heaven.
Review: Well this review is a little (okay a lot) late since I've had the game since it came out. But since this is my first review in such a long time I thought I'd go with one of my favorites. I've been a darius fan forever it seems like. If you've never...

Epinions G Darius: Big Bad Shooter

by  Dbbum,  May 22, 2001
Pros: Excellent graphics, easy/hard gameplay, different paths to take (fair replay value)
Cons: Terrible high pitch sound spotting a boss
The Bottom Line: Cheap addition to your collection, easy for anyone to play, and is the simpliest game I've ever seen!
Review: A playstation game I recently got was G Darius. When I saw the cover I though it would be another lame cartoonish spaceship shooter. Once I turned it on and got going, my eyes were amazed. I've playing the SuperR-Type arcades game, and the older 8bit ...

Epinions G Darius: What's old is new again!

by  offspringer,  May 8, 2001
Pros: Lots of enemies; huge bosses; enemy capture feature; responsive gameplay
Cons: Slowdown rears its ugly head; How do you dodge all those bullets?
The Bottom Line: If you remember playing shooters on during the 16-bit era and have wondered where they've gone, look no further than G Darius for a challenging, but entertaining, old-school shooter.
Review: Taito's Darius series of shooters is by no means new; 16-bit veterans might remember Darius Twin for SNES or Sagaia for Genesis. Sega Saturn owners might remember Darius Gaiden. The Darius series revolves around enemy ships that look like fish-- that's...

Epinions The Best Side Scrolling Shooter Around

by  tinfoilguy,  Jan 6, 2000
Pros: nice graphics, capturing enemies, alpha beams, two player co-op mode
Cons: lot's of enemies can get confusing sometimes
Review: This is definately one of the best games in it's genre. Though the graphics aren't as pretty as einhander but it makes up for it in the gameplay. The ability to take control of almost any enemy craft in the game, and two player co-op modes just make this...

by  VGDJ,  Sep 3, 2000
Pros: Large Levels, great cinamatics, challenging levels, hints, and venom is funny as hell! Plus Stan Lee does narrator.
Cons: The training is harder than the whole game.
Review: Well it was a rainy friday so what else is there to do but get a new game. I had been waiting for Spiderman for a LONG TIME, but with bad memories form other superhero titles,(example- Iron man/XO Man of War, X-men Children of the atom, The Incredible...

Epinions :) Playstation's Ghost In The Shell Has The Beat!

by  UCturboBoii,  Sep 19, 2000
Pros: Great music; Short and easy game for rent
Cons: coarse, dark, and grainy graphics; 1 player only
Review: :o --This epinion is on Ghost In The Shell Not G Darius--
Based on a Japanese game, Ghost In The Shell have Japanese animaes, 2-3 minute opening movies, upbeat music that you could feel, and addicting plays with rattling full automatic machine guns,...
