A Real Runabout

Considering my last GE microwave performed flawlessly for 12-years, after reading a glowing recommendation in Consumer Reports I bought the JE-1460. Unlike the earlier one, this appliance ran about 12-months and 11-days before turning itself on, making a horrible noise, and refusing to be turned off.

Considering this microwave has been out of warranty for a bit over a week and service calls are $74.95 + parts and labor, I'll just junk it and find something other than a GE.
