Epinions Great Buy!! A color GPS with voice for under $200

by  nyyankees23,  Jul 28, 2007
Pros: Unit is well built and portable, its software is user friendly, inexpensive price.
Cons: Memory cards are expensive, eats batteries in a few hours, best on included car charger
The Bottom Line: This is a great product which can still compete with much more expensive models. Totally satisfied with it and worth every dime I spent ($159)!!!!

Cons: Difficult set up, ancient maps, poor antenna, questionable directions in confusing situations.
The Bottom Line: If you can't afford something better, only buy from someone who will install the software and let you test drive it first. Test reception in your car.
Review: A traveling friend visited with a different model of Garmin that appeared to work well. We had fun trying to confuse it by taking alternate routes to places around town. My wife gets lost a lot, so I thought this would be a perfect Mother's Day present ...
