Pros: Lots of guns, lots of options, 2 excellent shooters!
Cons: Graphics are very outdated. Almost too hard.
The Bottom Line: Play it while you can! Games like Gradius don't come to Canada everyday now.
Review: GRADIUS III & IV (Konami, 2001) "At long last! We finally get another Gradius game (actually two Gradius games in one) after all these years". I was worried this PS2 game wouldn't make it over here from Japan especially since Gradius II and ...

Pros: A lot of fun, two classic shooters for the price of one
Cons: Should of had a lot more game in the package, very hard
The Bottom Line: Two wonderful titles, but the whole seires should of been in this collection.
Review: Genre Definition - 2-D Shooter = 2-D shooters are games that have the player control a flying ship, weapon, person, or what you have through scrolling 2-d stages while at the same time shooting at diffrent enemies trying to destroy you. More often than ...

Pros: fun retro-arcade style play the way it should be
Cons: extremely difficult, poor graphics for PS2 technology
The Bottom Line: Excellent return to the classics. Enjoyable, yet very challenging. Most people will give up with frustration so you have to like a challenge. Not "eye-candy" for graphics lovers.
Review: I miss the good 'ole days. Back then we were more concerned with gameplay than graphics. Everything is all eye-candy and poor gameplay nowadays.
Thankfully, Konami has always been there for us to provide us with both (except that horrible... |

Pros: many weapons, cool graphics
Cons: way too hard
The Bottom Line: This game is good if you really want a challenge...
Review: I first got Gradius back in 94' for the SNES. I could never beat it but my dad did. I had Gradius III. I could never get past the last stage. Untill now! Gradius 3 and 4 offers great gameplay. While the game is 2 in 1, the game is highly difficult....

Pros: Classic Gradius game. Very fun. Arcade perfect.
Cons: It's a classic. Nothing really innovative about this game.
The Bottom Line: If you liked those side scrolling shoot 'em up games for Super Nintendo and Genesis, you'll love this one. Excellent graphics, play control, and replay value.
Review: Well, if you liked Gradius for Super Nintendo, you'll love this one. The graphics match that of the arcade, and some of those bosses are pretty good looking. There are even a few new features. The sound isn't something to shout about, but it's not...

Pros: great game
Cons: non
The Bottom Line: i would buy this game if i were you
Review: At long last! we get another Gradius game (actually two Gradius games in one) after all these years. I was worried this game wouldn't make it over here from Japan but Konami proved us wrong. Both shooters are tough as nails with loads of enemies on...

Pros: You're a little ship against huge masses of enemies and awsome boss fights.
Cons: I certainly dont remember 3 being this hard.
Review: It's been a long time since I played the original Gradius 3 for SNES and when my brother brought this home I jumped for joy. I love shooters and this is my favorite. I had never heard of 4 untill I saw this. This collection would've been a 5* if 3 wasn't ...

Pros: Intro Video, Good to finally see this game genre on a console, Lotsa Upgrades, 2-in-1
Cons: Very misleading advertising, no upgrade in graphics, VERY difficult
The Bottom Line: With no upgrade in graphics, and the extreme difficulty of this game, it has little going for it. It does make up for this in game modes and addiction level.
Review: Gradius III & IV has one major thing going for it-two games in one. This is a time-honored idea, take a few old games, put them together, and release them on a new system. It has worked well for many things, Super Mario All-Stars, The many re-releases...

Pros: arcade perfect version, exactly what it says on the box.
Cons: Not in any shape or form a PS2 game and incredibly hard to boot.
Review: Shoot 'em ups _are_ my game. Gradius (or Nemesis as it was called over here in the UK) and R-Type are my 2 favourite arcade shoot'em ups of all time. So, when they announced the PS2 arcade perfect conversions I jumped onboard on my spanking new PS2,...

Pros: two games on one disc
Cons: no outstanding enhancements
The Bottom Line: This is just a remake of the original arcade games - nothing new, no superior enhancements
Review: The release of Gradius III and IV (on one disc) for the PlayStation 2 may have seemed like a good idea. I, however, think otherwise. The games are nearly replicas of the arcade versions and there really isn't that much enhancements or new additions to...
