Epinions The best juicer on the market!

by  sachacrompton,  Feb 2, 2008
Pros: Extremely efficient juicer (the most efficient), multiple uses, easy to clean
Cons: Price, but well worth it
The Bottom Line: If you want the best juicer available, this is the one.
Review: A few years ago, I bought a Breville centrifugal juicer after learning of the benefits of fresh raw juices. Only after buying it did I learn of the problems of centrifugal type juicers. They destroy most of the nutrients by running at 13,000 RPM which ...

Epinions Great juicer for serious juice drinkers

by  opiniamea,  Apr 28, 2006
Pros: Excellent juicer and more. Sturdy, noiseless machine. Great price for it’s quality and versatility.
Cons: Too much machine for occasional juicing. Price and taken space not justified unless REALLY used.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this machine to serious juice consumers. Excellent juice quality to be drunk by ill people for health reasons, but not only. Good for everyone who likes juice.
Review: I bought this juicer particularly for my spouse who is ill and needs to drink lots of juice. The juice is of excellent quality. Previous reviews complain about cleaning. I had a centrifugal juicer before, and cleaning Green Star is a lot easier than ...

Epinions Incredible for about all our needs

by  wanderinggypsy,  Feb 5, 2007
Pros: extracts the most juice, retains the most enzymes
Cons: very hard to clean and expensive but very worth it
The Bottom Line: A must have for serious juicers and those who care about their health
Review: My husband bought this juicer before we met and 25 lbs of carrots a day went through this baby.. then I started using it for everything else several years later. I juice everything from orange wedges to pineapples, cantaloupes, watermelons, and honeydews ...

Epinions excellent juicer

by  ionyou,  May 24, 2005
Pros: excellent quality juice, Best I've ever had. makes a variety of stuff
Cons: price, hard to clean
The Bottom Line: I'm very happy with this product. I wanted the best juice possible and that is what I got.
Review: First of all let me start out by saying I agree with the previous opinion that this juicer isn't too great for soft juicy things (for example fresh rip tomatoes) But there are a couple of ways around that. #1 you want to alternate juicy stuff with ...

Epinions Great Juicer for hard and leafy stuff

by  mstrong1,  Oct 17, 2004
Pros: Great (the best) on hard and leafy things that will feed easily into the gears.
Cons: Poor (very poor) on watery and soft things that can't be pushed into the gears.
The Bottom Line: If you want to juice leafy and hard items, there is no better tool for that job.
Review: I have this unit. Like all juicers for leafy and hard things, cleaning takes a bit of work. This one works by squishing material really hard between two gears. It throughly squishes the juice out. The waste comes out very dry. It is excellent. I ...

Epinions price and counter space issues aside, a good investment

by  bigbubbacain,  Jun 15, 2006
Pros: One machine that really and truly will do everything
Cons: Clean up requires entire disassembly. BUT a fact of life for any juicing enthusiast.
Review: I wanted this machine because I knew that I would always have the ability to make wheatgrass juice AT HOME! This cannot be done with a centrifugal / pulp ejecting juicer. I thought the magnet cores in the gears was a novel idea at first, but it really ...

Epinions Choose Carefully

by  healthee,  Jun 28, 2008
Pros: This machine does work great on carrots, beets and other hard root veggies.
Cons: Very disappointed with all of the so-called wheatgrass and health experts who recommended this machine.
Review: Very disappointed with this expensive juicer. I expected more versatility - wheatgrass to fruits, but find it does a terrible job with wheatgrass, spinach and other leafy greens. I get nothing, but foam. After months of research, I bought this ...
