by  losercher,  Feb 1, 2006
Pros: HD, widescreen, easy setup, TV Guide built in
Cons: Built in TV Guide doesn't work
The Bottom Line: Buy it and see what real TV looks like. The clean and crisp picture is amazing.
Review: First off, I thought my husband was crazy when he told me how much this television he wanted was. I said "$2200 for a television, Have you lost your mind!" Then he took me over to his friends house and I saw the television in regular channels and then in ...

Pros: Built-in HDTV converter and easily controls cable box.
Cons: None.
Review: I was looking for a upgrade to my small home theater which included a 27" conventional tube tv. I was quite excited when my wife suggested we purchase a new set for the SuperBowl. Our choice was an open-box Samsung HLR5667W from Best Buy. We got a big ...

Pros: Fantastic picture, great connectivity options
Cons: Remote is too spartan
Review: After several months of painstaking research, I finally decided on the HLR5667W. I have not regretted it! The first thing I noticed was an impressive array of connectivity options. If you have something you cannot hook up to this TV, you don't need it! ...

Pros: HD broadcast are great Lots of connection options Great price from Amazon
Cons: Remote is ok TVGuide feature is a pain
The Bottom Line: Lots of research and planned need to upgrade (Directv, cables, antenna, etc) but well worth it! Awesome picture vs "standard" tv.
Review: Based on the ticket price for this item I really shopped around and read reviews comparing Samsung to Sony. The deciding factor was PIP and cost. Couple of key notes that I learned: A) Both pictures are comparable - it's personal preference B) TV is ...

Epinions Nice TV set

by  crazy4tech,  Jan 24, 2006
Pros: Nice picture quality, lots of input connections, PIP, slick design, lightweight equipment.
Cons: Remote control lacks more features that can only be accessed using TV on-screen menu.
The Bottom Line: For budget-wise concerned people like me go ahead and buy it. You won't regret having a market-proven set made by a DLP-experienced company as Samsung.
Review: That TV is bigger and lighter than you think. When you place it in your living/family room it will fit nicely to your decor due to its slick design and frame's neutral colors (silver and black). So far the picture quality is superb however it isn't ...

Review: Tv is great when its not having problems. Trying to deal with Samsung customer support is worse than dealing with a car dealership. Absolutely the worst customer service I have dealt with in 42 years. My tv starting having problems after about 5 months ...
