Epinions Want to cool off this summer? Try the Honeywell HT-800 Table Fan

by  gaelkm,  Jul 19, 2005
Pros: Priced right, does the job, small sized powerhouse.
Cons: ~none~
The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with this compact little fan that really cools off a room quickly!
Review: We finally broke down and bought a new fan. My son’s fan had seen better days. It is so old and dirty and just wasn't worth major cleaning to keep it. It had served him well, but was ready for retirement. Randall likes his room cool, actually closer ...

Epinions Honeywell HT-800 Table Fan - Insert your favorite "blow" joke here

by  jkafer,  Oct 23, 2005
Pros: Pushes a ton of air, small, attractive
Cons: None, really.
The Bottom Line: This is the best fan we've used and the small form factor makes it a no-brainer.
Review: There's a misnomer about living in the Seattle area: People think that it rains year-round. As a result, very few people have air-conditioning. Then when summer arrives and we have days that reach 90 degrees, the community flocks to their neighborhood ...

Epinions Works great

by  ohm62,  Jul 26, 2005
Pros: Cheap, reliable, creates a nice breeze in a medium sized room.
Cons: Fixed. Cannot rotate otherwise than manually moving the whole unit.
Review: Been using it 3 summers in a row. Not a problem. Quiet enough on 2 lower speeds, becomes a bit loud on high speed, but hey, it moves LOTS of air in all setups! ...

Epinions Blow Me Away Little Jet Plane... Umm I Mean Table Fan

by  lilsquibb,  Dec 17, 2007
Pros: Compact size, puts out some air, sleek design, safe for curious fingers
Cons: wow-that noise
The Bottom Line: If you can handle the noise.. this little Honey will blow you away.
Review: Michigan summer gets hot. Not just hot but sticky-hot for a good three months out of the year. We have central air, but it is old and not energy efficient. Plus we really only need it about 2 weeks in June when summer really gets in full swing. The ...

Epinions A fan for your fanny (and rest of your body too!)

by  orcaguy,  Mar 9, 2007
Pros: Inexpensive, moves plenty of air, seems built to last
Cons: Louder than more expensive fans, especially on high setting
The Bottom Line: It's a no brainer - $10 for a simple solid performer.
Review: I've owned three of these fans (for different parts of my home) for six months. For ten bucks, I can't imagine anyone finding a better fan. It is definitely loud at highest setting. At its lowest setting, it's still pretty effective, and the noise ...

Epinions Steer clear of Target model

by  peterbb,  Jul 31, 2007
Pros: Cheap, compact
Cons: weak bordering on useless
Review: I recently purchased a Honeywell HT-800-TGT at Target. (I presume the TGT suffix indicates it a model produced and/or packaged specifically for Target). I brought it home, plugged it in, and was gravely disappointed. Despite the Vornado-esque styling, ...
