Epinions Logitech Remains My Choice in Pointing Devices

by  vemartin, top reviewer in Computer Hardware ,  Nov 29, 2007
Pros: Lightweight, smooth operation; highly functional; small, small transceiver.
Cons: N/a
The Bottom Line: For a general purpose optical pointing device, the Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Mouse can’t be beat.
Review: Over the years I have learned that a computer mouse is not just a mouse; it in many ways defines your computing experience. A smooth running mouse is a joy to work with, while a mouse that skips, jitters, and has a mind of its own can tack minutes or ...

Epinions The Mouse That Roared: The Logitech Revolution

by  Ed.Williamson,  Feb 1, 2008
Pros: Excellent technology, ergonomics, and the search button.
Cons: Expensive.
The Bottom Line: In 2008, this is one of the best mice you can buy.
Review: A famous king is reputed to one have said, “A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!” Sometimes we computer users are, with similar desperation, inclined to shout, “A mouse, a mouse, my kingdom for a mouse that doesn’t go nuts on ...

Epinions More of a revolution to how I use my computer than anything

by  bloodfyr,  Apr 28, 2007
Pros:

Comfortable

Easy setup

Document Flip is worth the price alone

Cons:

No middle button

Buttons aren't completely customizable

The Bottom Line: A great mouse: Comfortable, sleek, and with some great features that make up for the few less-than-great ones.
Review: I'll admit it. I'm an old school computer geek. I can do things faster with the keyboard than I could ever hope to do with the mouse. I know just about every keyboard shortcut for Windows there is to know. So to me, the mouse was just something ...

Epinions Joining the revolution, revised

by  red5dsd,  Jan 27, 2007
Pros: Works as expected on a Mac
Cons: Clickwheel doesn't scroll up at desired rate on long pages
The Bottom Line: Buy this mouse if you're a Mac user. It will even match your new iMac nicely with its black finish.
Review: I wrote a review in January that gave this mouse a lousy 2 star rating. Since that time, I've given the mouse another shot and after replacing bad RAM that was plaguing my Macintosh with disease, this mouse works fabulously. I think the RAM issues may ...

Epinions 2 wheeled cordless wonder

by  panoramix,  Jan 20, 2008
Pros: Sleek, cordless, accurate,
Cons: Software not compatible with some Microsoft software, non-removable batteries.
The Bottom Line: If you are frequently jumping from program to program, or you need a programmable mouse to play PC games with, go for the MX Revolution
Review: I'm always one for ergonomics, and I wanted to replace my aging Logitech MX 700. I've been looking towards buying the MX Revolution since it first came out, but I've been waiting for the price to drop below $70 for over a year. Finally I got my chance ...

Epinions EVERYTHING you want and NEED in a mouse.. and more!

by  thollenback,  Dec 19, 2007
Pros: can customize every button assignment, feels great, awesome scroll wheel, rechargeable battery, looks good.
Cons: Only comes in black, not for lefties.
The Bottom Line: I would fully recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a comfortable mouse that is guaranteed to increase their productivity. This thing is truly revolutionary.
Review: NOTE: This review is based on using this mouse on MAC OS X v10.5 Leopard. Before this mouse, i was using an Apple Mighty Mouse on my MacBook. I used it for approximately 6 months and eventually, scrolling down became impossible, and the problem was ...

Epinions Best Mouse Available

by  jack852,  Apr 2, 2007
Pros: A Placement of switches. "Hyper Fast Scrolling"
Cons: Top button does not work. Switch programing limited.
Review: The Logitech MX Revolution replaces the MX1000. It has some better features and some worse but, all in all, it makes the MX1000 obsolete. Better: Excellent placement of switches. Hyper Fast Scrolling lets you scroll top to bottom of several pages ...

Epinions I Love This Mouse

by  mikebaer77,  Feb 9, 2007
Pros: Fully customizable comfortable scroll wheel clutch is truly revolutionary Tons of buttons
Cons: Mac users need a third-party driver to utilize all features.
Review: I'm a bit surprised at some of the earlier reviews. One reviewer complains about the transmitter being easily lost. Why even take it out of the computer? Another says that the mouse doesn't work with Macs. True, the Logitech driver does not work very ...

Epinions Best mouse I've ever owned

by  puffnstuff,  May 21, 2007
Pros: Maintains contact, tracks right and long battery life.
Cons: Expensive, did I mention that it is expensive.
Review: I've always loved wireless mice ever since the logitech mouseman became available back in '95. Ever since then I've switch back and forth between logitch and ms wireless mice. I was getting frustrated with the newer ms mice dropping signal all too ...

Epinions Snazziest mouse ever. But no middle click!

by  rasi2290,  Oct 6, 2006
Pros: Perfectly shaped for right-handers. Accurate. Free-spinning scrollwheel. Document Flip button improves task switching.
Cons: NO MIDDLE CLICK. Buggy and/or weird software. Expensive. No fun at all for lefties!
The Bottom Line: Very cool new features; I now hate using other mice. But erosion of core functionality makes this an iffy buy. Hopefully the next version irons out the kinks.
Review: You know, I was going to give this mouse two stars, and suggest avoiding it. But the more I used it, the more I liked it. It's actually pretty great - it just has a learning curve and takes a little getting used to. Now I love it. Here's the ...
