by  susiewho,  May 4, 2006
Pros: Great hands free carrier that allows baby to be close to you. Great baby calmer.
Cons: I'm missing a little pocket but thats my only negative.
The Bottom Line: I've seen this work for babies and I also have found it works for my dog. I think its a well designed product.
Review: I recently purchased the Infantino Sling Rider Baby/Sling/Wrap. My purpose was a bit different than what the company had in mind but I will get to that shortly. As a baby carrier I was really rather impressed with the take an old concept and build a ...

Epinions Essential New Born Gear

by  jennythenipper,  Oct 30, 2006
Pros: Works like the womb to sooth fussy baby, easy to get in and out.
Cons: Tough on neck and back after a while, doesn't last much beyond first three months
The Bottom Line: Essential newborn gear. Very well made, easy to use and a life saver for soothing a "collicky" baby when nothing else works.
Review: This sling is not good up to 20 pounds as it says on the box. But if you accept the fact that you will probably not use it much 12 weeks, then it is still a small price to pay for a quiet happy newborn. The first three months of life are often called ...

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this sling to anyone. In fact, it is my new standby for a baby gift. You will love it!
Review: I did not plan on buying a sling because as a rule I am not an attachment parenting type. However, my sister in law sent me her infantino slingrider since her son had outgrown it, and am I ever glad! This is tied with my Moby Wrap for my favorite baby ...

The Bottom Line: If you have a baby during winter run to buy one it is the best thing you could buy

Epinions Love this product! Baby is cozy and sleeps. Handsfree!

by  mrsandr,  Jan 10, 2006
Pros: Baby can sleep, nurse privately! Handsfree.
Cons: Can cause neck/shoulder strain if you don't wear it the correct way.
Review: Purchased this product after having bought a backpack type baby sling. This is great for an infant that does not have head and neck control. It is also useful if you are out and about and baby wants to sleep. You don't have to deal with a big awkward ...

Epinions Infantino Not Suitable For Hot Climates

by  samdansophie,  Oct 11, 2005
Pros: Nice and snug for a newborn in cool weather conditions, safety harness attached
Cons: Too hot in summer, caused shoulder and back pain, limited carrying positions
The Bottom Line: There are better slings on the market.
Review: We purchased an Infantino Sling Rider when our baby was 4 weeks old. We were looking for a sling carrier to use to calm her during fussy periods at night and enable us to have our hands free to do things around the house. The sling was ideal in the ...

Epinions Infantino Black/Paisley Blue Baby Sling

by  haysmom07,  Jul 16, 2008
Pros: Pretty design, velcro straps inside, adjustable, stretches.
Cons: Uncomfortable, plastic adjuster can snap(recalled),awkward
The Bottom Line: Not for me, maybe for less active babies who like to be swaddled and wrapped tight.
Review: I purchased this sling used off a local community site. CL. Anyway, I used it less than a handful of times, I thought it would help me be able to do more stuff while holding my son. Whenever I tried using it, he did not like it at all, it was awkward ...

Epinions Infantino SlingRider needs improvement---some models now recalled!

by  jjhess10,  Mar 21, 2007
Pros: fashionable design, great for newborns with snug, close to body fit, adjustable straps
Cons: Not really for babies past 3 months, baby position inside not adjustable
The Bottom Line: The product is good for babies 3 months and younger and is worthwhile during that stage when baby likes to be more snug. Not recommended for older babies though.
Review: Although the Infantino SlingRider is marketed as being usable up to 20lbs, I have found that it really is more like up to 12lbs or 3 months. The product was very good when my daughter was a newborn as it held her snug and close to the body which was ...
