Pros: Toshiba Brand of Quality & Reliability Fast Mobile PIII 1000MHz, Combo DVD/CDRW
Cons: Maximum Memory 512 megabytes Not USB 2.0 and only 2 USB ports
The Bottom Line: Good solid product for daily use. Fast repair at Toshiba authorized service center 20 minuted from my office. Most repairs are done in 1 day.

Epinions Old but reliable P3 class laptop tha can run Windows XP

Pros: Easy to upgrade Wifi, memory, hdd. Two PC Card slots enable easy expansions.
Cons: Original power supply was flaky and causing crashes. Universal replacement PSU fixed it right up.
The Bottom Line: Not a bad older laptop for Web surfing. Give it a few upgrades and install Windows XP to max it out.

Pros: Powerful; has DVD-ROM drive and integrated Ethernet and modem connectivity.
Cons: Expensive; bulky size; full screen supports only 1024 x 768 image displays
The Bottom Line: It mixes business with pleasure, offering a DVD-ROM drive alongside integrated Ethernet and modem connectivity. Faster than many other 700MHz Pentium notebooks, the 4600 is however quite pricey.
